CA will deliver a speech at Al-Azhar University tomorrow.

 

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to deliver a speech at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, tomorrow, as part of his two-day visit to attend the D-8 Summit.

According to his Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Professor Yunus will address the university on December 19.

The invitation for the speech was extended by the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al Sharif, Ahmed Eltayeb, during a meeting with Professor Yunus at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan, on November 12.

During his visit, the Chief Adviser will also participate in the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation (Developing-8) Summit, which is scheduled to take place in Cairo on December 19.

On the sidelines of the summit, Professor Yunus is expected to hold bilateral meetings with leaders from several D-8 member countries, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as mentioned by the Deputy Press Secretary.
