Elon Musk's gesture at Trump rally draws scrutiny

 

Elon Musk's appearance at a Trump rally this afternoon has sparked widespread discussion online due to a gesture he made during his speech.

While thanking supporters for their role in Trump's victory, Musk placed his right hand over his heart and then extended the same arm straight out in front of him. "My heart goes out to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured," he told the crowd.

The gesture has drawn comparisons to a Nazi salute from several users on X, the social media platform owned by Musk.

As of now, Musk has not responded to the controversy surrounding his appearance at the Capital One Arena rally.
