COLUMBUS, Ohio — Due to the winter storm impacting the region, several major school districts in central Ohio have canceled classes for Monday.
School districts such as Columbus, Hilliard, Westerville, Worthington, and Olentangy made announcements on their websites confirming the closures.

A Winter Storm Warning or Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of central Ohio through Monday night as the region experiences its first significant snowfall of the season. The heaviest snow is expected between midnight and sunrise on Monday.
Southern Ohio is also at risk of sleet and freezing rain, with possible ice accumulations of up to 0.10". Central Ohio could see several inches of snow, possibly exceeding four inches. All precipitation is expected to turn to snow by Monday afternoon.
A 10TV Weather Impact Day is in effect for Sunday evening and Monday due to the potential for the largest snow event of the season.
Snowfall may taper by Monday morning but could intensify again by the afternoon. By Monday night, conditions are expected to calm, though temperatures will remain frigid.
