The Minnesota Vikings are riding a hot streak as they head into Week 15.
Sam Darnold’s 11-2 squad has won six consecutive games, and a seventh straight victory tonight would move them into a tie for first place in the tightly contested NFC North with the Detroit Lions.
To achieve that, the Vikings will face off against the struggling 4-9 Chicago Bears, who have dropped seven straight games. Despite their losing skid and position at the bottom of the division, the Bears are far from a pushover. When the two teams met on November 24, Minnesota eked out a narrow 30-27 overtime victory.
“These guys are a good football team playing really hard,” Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said in his pregame press conference. “We’re going to have to play really good football to have a chance to win this one.”
O’Connell also highlighted Caleb Williams’ ability to make plays with his mobility, adding, “His athleticism and elusiveness were real. We’ll need to do a much better job this time keeping him in the pocket.”
The Vikings are coming off a dominant 42-21 win against the Falcons in Week 14, while the Bears fell 38-13 to the 6-7 San Francisco 49ers in their last outing.
